[sdiy] Holiday ? - CV voltage indicator LED question

I'd like to be able to display using 3 LEDs when the CV into a VCO is
1. less than 1 volt or
2. Between 1 and 5 volts or
3. greater than 5 volts - all approximately
This part of the detecting voltage seems pretty straightforward using
a basic comparator circuits.

The question really is where would the best place be to insert this
circuit. The VCO in question is a Moog 901 which has a basic adder
input circuit for the CV then an diode based exponential convertor.
