Actually I helped in the design of the PPG 2.3, HDU, PRK, EVU and 16-bit
WaveTerm. We got these into production and we were actually in design on the
Realizer when PPG got into financial hot water. We were able to get the DSP
and 68k to do the Minimoog stuff but I had to call it quits as I was no
longer getting paid and that meant I needed to go back home. PPG survived
for about a year or so after I left and Wolfgang Dueren was in process of
getting Waldorf to become independent of PPG. Wolfgang Palm later did some
work with Steinberg and later was involved in Waldorf engineering. Not sure
I can re-create all of the time line as I was working on DSP001DSP56002 and
Digidesign projectswhile at Motorola Semi.

I think on a good day about 10 people. Chassis were contracted out as were
the WaveTerm CPU boards.

Well, let's just say a divorce will be a final solution to a difficult
marriage. The kids are the real victims and of course your business get's
chewed up as well. So much for negative energy. I really am sorry for
Wolfgang and Thies, his son.

Yes, that is correct and he has gone back to his roots as a keyboard player
in small groups playing in clubs.
