I started working with Wolfgang early 1980 I believe. I was the sole
imported for PPG and Simmons back then through my business Shultz Sound
Design. I was also employed full time at E-Mu designing the Drumulator and
Emulator II products. I left E-Mu and went to work in Hamburg, W. Germany
full time in beginning of 1984 and left back to Calif. In Spring 1985. I
then joined Motorola Semi. And was involved in the DSP design with Research
Group in Corp. HQ. Of Motorola.

I was Head of Manufacturing and R&D. Small company means you do a bit of
everything including Production debugging and Shipping etc.

Not all, but a good deal. The OS was called UniFlex 68K. Wolfgang and I
parted ways do to financial chaos in the US sales and receivables. I have
great respect for Wolfgang Palm and consider him my friend still today. His
eX-wife is a different matter and I prefer to let this person go from my
memory as I am sure it does no good to belabour her or her character. She
was greatly responsible for PPG failure and I am sure Wolfgang would
appreciate some closure on this aspect of his life.

I am sure Wolfgang is still a viable Engineer and Musician. He is a kindred
spirit and I have great admiration of his ability to think outside the box.
It is sad we are getting older and cannot take as many financial chances
with our money, but I would love to work with him again and create some
really fine products. We talk from time to time and the next time we meet
perhaps we can agree to work on other ideas again.

I have been building Audio products since 1968 to present and I can never
get enough time to put all of my ideas into projects. I wish I had deeper
pockets to hire a couple of guys to work on ideas with me , but I am alas
just an average guy financially.

Best regards,
