[sdiy] AL3201

[Eric Brombaugh]

Coolaudio's codec is basically a knock-off of an old Cirrus part. Pretty 
cheap (less than $2) but you have to buy a fairly large quantity if I 
recall correctly. There are a lot of stereo codecs out there using the 
I2S format, but pretty much everything bottoms out near $2. A lot of the 
cheap ones (Wolfson for example) have SPI/I2C control ports that must be 
configured to get any audio out of them, so they're probably not good 
candidates for simple applications with the AL3201. Better off to bite 
the bullet and go with a slightly more costly part that can 
automatically configure itself. Plan on spending $4 or so for that 
capability.
