Ah - well then, straight from the mouth of someone who ought to know. I 
based my guess that it was the Alesis part based on the fact that they 
used only 1 CV input. The Alesis part doesn't have an analog input, but 
the docs do describe how to use a host processor to force external ADC 
data into it via the I2C bus. Also, if purchased from Coolaudio they're 
_really_ cheap compared to the FV-1 which runs near $10 even for 
moderate quantities.

It'll be interesting to see what eventually turns up. Hopefully 
something with a bit more delay memory & I/O.
