[sdiy] Eagle library search

Hi,

One of the things that I don't like about Eagle PCB is the search for components.

I've seen a couple of goes at doing it:

- ELS/ESL on CadSoft's web site
- esawdust (http://www.esawdust.com/eagle/partsearch.html)

The first one is a Windows executable that does the searching for you (I'm on a Mac, so no use to me!), whilst the second one can't find "74HC14" (you can find "74.*14" though).

So, the past couple of weeks, I've been putting my own together.

It's not finished yet, but I'd like a select group of people to have a go with it - and let me know if they have problems or ideas to improve it.

It's currently available at http://sparkle.tribbeck.com/eaglesearch/

The things that need to be worked on are:

- Free text search
- Searches in the description needs to work better
- I've only done the libraries up to the end of "C", so there's "D...Z" left to do
- Some of the libraries I may have attributed to CadSoft built-in when they're ones I've downloaded (I'll reinstall a new version to verify them)
- IE doesn't centre the display (I know why; I'll sort it out this evening)
- Some of the drill-downs haven't been written yet (these are the yellow arrows to the right of found values)

Hopefully it's not too difficult for people to use, but if you have any questions, let me know.

Note that I work on it in the UK evening time, so if you find it crashing then, I might be working on it :)
