Or option four, run all modules from 12V? I wanted to run from 15V but by
the time I added a bunch of modules, current draw required that the modules
settled for approximately 15V unregulated or 12V regulated.
I didn't see enough advantage with 15V to go through the effort of building
a 15V supply. Plus, 12V keeps CMOS logic chips far enough from the supply
limits to reduce the chance of damage from spikes. 12V also reduces total
current draw by 20%?? Some number anyway after all P = V*A.
