Thanks for the replies im starting to learn a few things already.
Pity there isn't 2 synths meets a year 
- this time of year is good for staying in and doing projects / listening to music etc.
But i'll definitely be along...ah bliss lots of synthesizers just down the road from me :)

As far as a choice between football and synthesizers is concerned that's a no-brainer for me,
i'd rather pull out my liver and nail it to my face than watch a bunch of blokes kick a bag of air around,
but I do realize some people actually like the game (no offence meant to fans!)
