The Tap Tempo LFO brought up a subject I have been very interested in:
A module that can convert incoming pulses to a readout in BPM (Beats
Per Minute).
It would be perfect if I could have a module in my modular that could
tell me BPMs of the clock/LFO/tap I gave it. A rundown of the functions:
Gate/trigger input, that would expect a rising edge
A 3-4 position switch able to double/half the incoming triggers, to
make the readout to be within a reasonable range (30 - 300 BPM)
Gate/trigger output, so that the clock is transfered futher on.
Actually, this is just a multiple, so it is not essential
Then of course: a 3-digit 7-segment LED readout (red and shiny :-)
Any ideas?
