The LS318's were $4-40ea for 50, I think $3-53ea if I remember for 500 pcs
direct from Linear Systems.  I'm going to have to pay some tax on this as
well to import them.  So they are more expensive than I'd hoped.

I didn't ask about minimum orders.  They were very helpful and had them in
stock for credit card order on the phone.

  They are a certainly a 'drop in' replacement for the ssm2210, what remains
to see is how good a replacement are they?  Any old pair of NPNs will always
*work*, it's just how well.  I'll post the results of my tests on an
exponential converter using the LS318 after they arrive.  George
