Just ordered 50 off LS318 matched 'Log conformance' NPN in SOIC from Linear
Systems in the US. I can spare a few if anyone needs 'em. The rest going
into my VCOs in place of the obsoleted SSM2210. George

Not sure which one will make the better log converter yet! LS312 has better
matching and stability with temperature specifications yet LS318 is listed
as a log conformance matched pair so we'll see by experimentation.

I like SMT for projects and one can always get a SOIC to DIL adapter for
prototyping. I make tiny VCO modules that previously used the SSM2210
device in SOIC that I need to replace and these chips look like they could
be a drop in replacement. George
