So, I need to make a database on the computer, both for the purposes
of easily searching for an item that satisfies criteria (minimum of
four notes poly, but with a 6.5mm output jack, and normal sized keys)
Primarily it's for Home Keyboards (Casios and Yamahas), because I want
to document and have as part of the searchable dataset which sound
chips it has and such.
Can anyone please help me out with a free program that will do this?
I don't have Microsoft Access as part of my office suite, nor do I
want to use it because I need other parties to be able to use the data
in a Free way (both kinds of free).
It doesn't need to connect to an online data server in either
direction, and it doesn't even need to be pretty. Hey, I'd be happy to
use a greenscreen app if it'd get the job done.
I suppose the mind-set I'm using could also be used to catalog Modular
Synth Modules as well.
Any ideas I'd be greatful. Just waiting for Open Office to download
now, which seems like it /may/ do the job, but I'm not certain.
Thanks for any suggestions!
