[sdiy] OTA to voltage-control resonance?

In 'The musical Applications of Microprocessors"
Hal Chamberlain shows a circuit with a 3080
controlling the feedback in a filter.
The 3080 OTA is just arranged as a normal VCA.

It works perfectly well, in my experience.
Naturally, if the filter is taken to oscillation, it perhaps sounds
different
compared with a purely resistive feedback, but for our (musical)
purposes, I think the 3080 sounds better, if anything.
