[sdiy] question about cables

If it's patch cables you're interested in, then I can recommend Hosa CPP-800
series unbalanced cables. I just bought another set of eight 90-cm ones
today (CPP-890, $27 at Hugo Helmer Music in Burlington, Washington). They
also come in 30 cm (CPP-830) and 45 cm (CPP-845) lengths. Each cable in a
set is a different color. I'm not sure (yet) how durable they are, but at
about $3 a pop, you can replace them without too much regret.
