[sdiy] slider cover fabric

It's like a cross between felt and tar paper, disintergrates slowly
over time and is generally... kinda gross.  I'll check out the cloth
stiffener fabric stuff.  Thanks for the suggestions.  I'm still just
sorta curious what the hell this stuff actually is.
