Hey guys,
Just a quick update on this stuff:
I have stumbled onto Ian Fritz's website. Ian, I didn't realize your
'kick sync' worked the way you describe it there. I guess it's yet
another way you can make sync different. It's sort of like 'triangle
core reversing sync' except it doesn't reverse the slope every time a
sync pulse comes in - it instead forces the core into the downward
slope mode (and if the downward slope mode is 'on' already, then
nothing changes after the pulse)
Cool stuff Ian! Can we get some PCBs? :^)
Also notable is the fact that if Ian's design is carefully used then
the slave oscillator can become chaotic and can also generate a
sub-harmonic; as well as the fact that the sync depth can be
controlled here.
