Interesting. I still have one burried way down there somewhere. I had a 
project where I wanted to build an ISA board myself with a 56001 etc. 
But it frooze down. Intended to audio stuff with it. Didn't have tools 
or anything back then. These days I guess there is more support for it 
just lying around if I cared to look.

Way back in time I did alot of studies in DSP land, when I was young and 
wild. These days they can flow the lid of the old boxes while yawning. I 
made a simple DSP myself and hack away in FPGA land from time to time 
(FPGA-Synth email-list could interest some, even if my contributions are 
small).

Yet, analog has a special place in my heart. :)
