[sdiy] Oscillator sync schemes

At the root of it, I guess there's only the ability to work off of the
amplitude of the wave(s)...so, something based on that? Either some
+/- amplitude, or zero crossing?
Maybe also something like 'sync on waveform rate-of-change threshold'
where a particular slope steepness is the trigger. Not sure how to
implement that.. or of the musicality of it...
