Uhhh you wanna be careful there. Dedicated comparators usually don't  
work like usual op amps - they usually have some sort of open  
collector output, needing a pull up-down-whatever resistor. In  
principle, the answer to your question is usually yes, but the circuit  
would probably need to be modified.
