yeah i've been considering going cold-turkey on the mailing lists for 
a while to break my addiction to email. it's almost like a timer tick 
-- oh, better stop playing with the lovely synths, gotta go and read 
a load of old regurg crap on the mailing lists again.

sigh. i'm such a fraud.
