Yes, Florian, and I have an octave selector circuit breadboarded and a pcb
layout ready to etch to add to my matrix scanning circuit. Since my matrix
is 12 x N (as opposed to the more conventional 8 x N), all I have to do is
intercept the three MSB from my matrix counter and add a binary number
between 0 and 4 to it before sending it to the latch. This expands my
keyboard up to 8 octaves, and will take care of the issue of mismatched
oscillators and filters.
