Far fewer than handmade caps, I'll tell you that much:) The rate of
bad caps is exceedingly low. But we've seen similar nuttiness from
the audiophile world. What about pear cables? I've seen audiophiles
fret for hours about matching the impedance of their speaker cables,
completely ignoring the fact that the impedance varies wildly at audio
frequencies. I think everyone here has heard of the $500 wooden
volume knob as well.
