[sdiy] Are (commercial) synth repair topics OT here?

Does OT meen "on" or "off" topic? : )

I think someone got upset a while back about someone asking questions for 
commercial use, but, so far as i see it, if a topic is interesting enough 
for discussion (with all its spin-off benefits) i couldnt care less if 
someone is using it in a commercial endevor.

But i may be biased, as i make money from diy related work.
