[sdiy] rising cost of PCB's?

I got the mono laser printer that actually uses toner. From what I have seen
on the Web no Ink Jets will work and I suspected that a LaserJet might not
actually use the plastic based toner. It would be way cool to get a true
color laser working for this, then you could do some nice Color "Silk
Screens" on the board, the Black silk screen is a little hard to seen on FR4
material.

I had no luck at all with my new Brother HL-4070CDW colour laserjet. No
matter how long I pushed with the iron, very little (and in some cases, no)
toner transferred. I may try your tip, but frankly, I rescued an old,
disused HP2100 from a dusty corner of my lab, and pressed it into pcb
service, and it has been working perfectly.
