I used to think this way too. I bought 4 large lots from different
suppliers on ebay. None of them were even close to within the supposed
1% tolerance. Most were 10% or more off. Totally useless. Trying to
get my money back was even more infuriating. I was going to have to
ship them all back to get credit. That alone almost cost as much as the
resistors themselves. Even then, I didn't get my money back from a
couple of the sellers. I now just spend the couple of cents and
purchase from Mouser. With the money I lost srewing around with these
jokers I easily could have made a lifetime buy from a legitimate
seller. Even after admitting they had crappy resistors, all four of the
sellers continued to sell the same lots on ebay.
