I think this has been mentioned before, but if you go that route be wary
about what you're actually getting. I have a ton of "1%" resistors that
are within 1-2% of the other resistors with the same marking from the same
lot, but not necessarily within 1% of the marked value.

IIRC someone suggested that they're the seconds which e.g. Mouser wouldn't
buy to resell.

Still better than 5% at least :).
