[sdiy] Ideal VCO

Hello All,

Question:

Assuming a VCO for 1v per Octave, What are the features that would make it
an Ideal module, and how important is each feature?

What I am looking for is things like not needing to tweak the VCO to get it
in Tune, no worries about it getting out of tune, What wave forms are
favorites, What is your favorite VCO missing, etc.
