I feel the same way. IEEE has the same deal. Lots of great stuff by lots of clever people, and you'll have to pay to see it. Seems unfair. After all, the authors aren't getting royalties for those papers, are they?

Even academia has this sort of thing. Ever see how much textbooks go for? Typically about four times what a comparable non-academic book goes for. I don't mind paying a fair price, but some of the fees seem real high. 

Oh well.
