The PCB fab I use convert all Eagle silk screen fonts to vector, which caught me out the first time as I had laid out the silk screen with proportional font.  It makes a difference and you can end up (as I did) with text running over pads, etc (doesn't affect solderability as the silk screen is masked with the keepouts, but it does make text illegible).
