I think you are right that you can't use this credit for online orders, 
paid online.  But I guess if you are paying by bank transfer you can 
just deduct this amount from the amount you transfer and let them know?  
Or you could place your next order by phone.  It's a bit naughty that 
they don't just back-order the OOS items like they would do if you had 
an account with them.

And you're right that it's not worth transferring the money back.

Any reason why you just didn't pay with a credit/debit card in the first 
place?
