[sdiy] [OT] old ebay auctions

I figured this might be as good a place as any... a friend wants to know 
the approximate value of an Elektor Formant synthesizer. I found some 
old auctions on EBay, but after some time they have been removed. I 
tried the Wayback Machine (http://www.archive.org/web/web.php) but 
apparently they don't host EBay pages. Any other suggestions on how to 
find these auctions? Or any other way of estimating the "market value" 
value of this synth? (Synth itself is in bad need of restoration, BTW, 
so we're interested in what a working one fetches).
