Schroff (US source is Newark) makes some Euro format racks that I think are
reasonable, about $80.00 for a "1U" 84HP. The Schroff can be open of
shielded, so can come with top, bottom, sides, and front. I bought an open
one, Schroff #24563-132 Newark #74M6581. The problem is it requires 2.5M
hardware rather than the 3M I think the Doepfer racks take.
Bud (get at Mouser) also makes all sorts of stuff like Cynthia said.
For Frac, Blacet or Paia seem to be best.
For the bigger stuff .COM, or MOTM, I have no clue.
The "Jurgen Haible designs" forum at electro-music has a thread discussing
this.

I am trying to find a not too expensive source of rack boxes. not just
panels but something to put the boards in as well.
I found one site but it was really expensive.
thanks!
