[sdiy] Synth UI [was: Modular - sound or song]

If you treated the sent and received signals as MIDI, a MIDIbox solution would be order. There's an analog send/receive module, or maybe one for each function (forget off the top of my head). Is it some kind of system feedback you're looking for? The MIDI box is more of two one way streets in each direction, less a bidirectional path, so far as I can tell at least.

The site's pretty extensive, though that translates to very wide open possibilities. I'm going to build one once my modular's up and running, as it would act as the best of both worlds, analog sound and digital control (or perhaps 'orchestration' is a better term, what with triggering of analog envelopes etc.).

Sneakthief on the list here is a big fan of the system.
