Volta has some sort of input mechanism, since it supposedly can
calibrate its output to scale for just about any VCO, using a feedback
loop with one of the VCO outputs. I don't know if the feature exists,
or how difficult it would be to implement, for the software to read a
DC input and translate it to MIDI for a softsynth. I don't know if the
MOTU audio interface inputs are also DC-coupled like the outputs...
