Wanna bet?
The thrill of getting Monowave II working is just awesome, making it
polyphonic (like Phoenix) is JUST as much as building a hardware module.
each time I have a new idea the first thing I do is throw it into my
Chameleon, why? because it costs me nothing other than my time to try.

because they don't have too :-)

WHAT?
take a step back and re-read that.
You don't want felxability? you don't want chocies?
So in your analogue modular world you have ONE type of VCO with ONE
output wave, ONE type of filter, ONE type of Modulation source (LFO OR
Eg)...
Having choices is, I'll agree, a double edged sword.
It's great that you can take pretty much idea and make it.. but it's
easy to get lost in the thinking rathe rthan the doing. That comes
down to self discipline.
The problem comes, like CGI in films, is when people over use and just
get lazy. That's not the fault of the technology, only of the users of
the technology.
