Would examining an oscillator's spectrum on a spectrum analyzer or some software equivalent not be useful? Everybody's talking about oscilloscopes. Also, I think that the oscillators should be compared at low, mid, and high frequency tunings. Chris (sorry for the direct email Seb...my mistake)
