I just got back from the local surplus store w/ a few cool things.
One is a nice analog joystick w/ 4 pots. I already have a few joysticks w/ 2 pots.
I'm having trouble coming up w/ the benefit of 4 pots. Both pots on each axis are always on the same setting. Should I bother wiring them up? (basically, to me it seems like two outputs from one pot would be the same thing)
One more question. I found some awesome 10 turn pots, w/ big knobs that have an indicator for each revolution of the knob. (so you know which of the 10 revolutions you are on) But, they are only 200 ohm. Are those of use for controlling the pitch of a VCO? (200 ohms is far from 100k which is what my VCO tune pots are now)
thanks!
