[sdiy] getting 16 volts AC? and does DC ruin AC circuits?

Yeah it really can't do damage I don't think usually.  Since it just 
pumps up one rail and not the other...and it just sits there with all 
the op amps in offset condition so that no signal passes until you get 
the other rail up :-) And yeah most things with ac in like that use it 
to make dual supplies. -Bob
