for the Audio CD of my book I made an vocoding example with an Boss 
GE-10, which does the five (german) vowels. The explaining text is 
spoken in german:

At the end of the example you hear the five german vowals "a" (like in 
english "u"pper), "e" (like in "e"nemy), "i" (like in "ea"gle), "o" 
(like in "o"pposite) and "u" (like in "ooh"-baby-i-love-your-way).
