Nice job, Dan! (Nice feet, too!) Now we know what you've been up to all
this time.
So, is the ark's VCO tracking the guitar to produce a pitch at the guitar's
pitch, or syncing to the guitar's pitch, or just processing the guitar's
signal through VCF/VCA, with various modulations (like a guitar trigger)?

Well after 9 months of figuring out, ordering parts, asking a million
questions, soldering forever and troubleshooting for longer...
THE AUDIO ARK (well the cosmetic part isnt quite done) Is basically done
here is a video of the beast
(please forgive my poor playing and camera work)

i want to say thanks to all of you who helped me out countless times...you
know who you are.
and i'd also like to thank those of you who about halfway through convinced
me that it wasnt cheating to use a PCB from someone like ELBY designs for
some of the basic building blocks of the project and use etched pcbs for the
rest.
and by the way, Laurie was a big help in getting me past some of the rough
spots of troubleshooting.
I still never did quite figure out a few things to my liking, but
overall...i am very proud of this behemoth.
i think for my friend who is getting it on sunday morning, it will be a
great introduction to synthesis as well as being the biggest guitar pedal he
has ever owned ;)
i think in the future though, i will make smaller projects. ;)
thanks
