Another lesson in reading Buchla schematics!  I missed the asterisks and 
notes.  Given they have different reference designators, and in some 
cases different values, I guess he originally designed with separate 
resistors, and then found them unnecessary and added the note?  Seems 
hardly worth it to save the cost of a few resistors.

BTW, are there photo's of the "innards" of an Easel anywhere?  I've seen 
a few pics of the outside, but never the pcbs or mechanical assembly of 
the inside.
