you mean balanced?
TRS just stands short for tip/ring/sleeve, which means three
conductors in a configuration otherwise known as "stereo jack". you
can use them either for stereo (2 channels with common ground) or mono
balanced audio signal (hot and cold with common ground)
if you want balanced audio signal, you'll definitely need to invert
what's coming out of your VCA (along with the non-inverted signal),
but i guess you'd also have to buffer the output and probably some
other stuff aswell.
