They have done the same thing through an Australian company which is
great for all those diy projects that have mouser part numbers in the
parts lists.
They have also offered the same arrangement with customs charges and
shipping appears to be very reasonable ;)

I just noticed that Mouser are trying to become easier to use for non-
USA buyers. The site for canucks is:

with values in CDN$. Hopefully they've worked out a decent arrangement
with Fedex so that we don't get slammed with $50 customs charge on $20
worth of parts anymore. Has anyone bought from them recently (I mean
anyone north of the 49th)? If so, how was the customs and shipping
handled? Did you get a surprise bill for $50 or more two weeks later?
Winter's almost here, that means lots of staying inside and soldering
to keep warm.
