With reference to

Would matching the two transistors on each rung in the ladder be worth 
the trouble?

And what about matching *all* the transistors in the ladder?

The LF412 opamp (U802, U803) seems a bit exotic. Would'nt e.g. TL072 
work just as well, and if not, why?
