Well maybe :)

But with a large document one can easily run out of fingers or
desk/floor space too. In the past I've printed uProc datasheets when
I've been working on a project, but in the end I just found that it was
quicker to click the PDF bookmark link than to find the particular page
I wanted. Now maybe I'll just print 1 or 2 pages that I might access a
lot...

What does help is that my music PC has 3 monitors (when I got rid of my
mixing desk and went to software with 40/40 soundcard I/O channels, I
didn't want to lose the instant accessibility that a hardware mixing
desk gives). So when I'm doing electronics I can have separate windows
for schematic, PCB, datasheets, etc.

But hey, it is more leisurely lying around readings things from books or
paper, than with a laptop balanced on one's knee! Only trouble when you
want to look something up on the internet you have to reach for the
computer... we are all quite spoilt in this modern information age.

Seb (who's becoming less and less able to write legibly by hand these days!)
