[sdiy] let's stop with the CCs, please...

Personally I very often leave the person I am answering as a To, with 
the SDIY list as CC.  This ensures the answer will get delivered to the 
person without delay, while also ending up on the list so others can 
read it.

And of course it can be a pain with certain mail clients to remove the 
extra To/CCs.

If this annoys you then why don't you just change your list preferences 
... log in and set "Avoid duplicate copies of messages?" to Yes.
