I'm in the same boat. My old Win 3.1 EDWin is looking rather sad these 
days and its almost certainly not going to work under Vista. Indeed, its 
struggling a bit under XP SP3. Their newer 32 bit version still has all 
the annoying tendencies of the old one and added a few new ones too when 
I played with the demo.

So Eagle looks good but the size restrictions on the cheaper version and 
the cost of the more featured one is prohibitive.

I think RIMU is looking good. Its recommended by Jurgen, but I haven't 
tried it yet.
