What OS are you using?

I've had good luck using the open-source gEDA tools:

http://www.geda.seul.org/

Decent schematic capture, netlist translation, PCB layout, gerber
viewer, SPICE simulation, HDL simulation, etc. Actively maintained and a
helpful community of experienced users and developers to answer
questions and lend advice.

Three projects done with it so far and I run it on both Linux and MacOS
X using CVS to bounce project files between machines. I'm not aware of
any limitations on board size. I've only done 2 layers, but I know of
folks who have 4 layer boards too.
