Try some Goo-Gone on that foam (in a very small spot initially).
I remember using this method when I got some of that same decaying foam
smeared on my hardwood floors years ago (while removing a synth from
it's case)
Make sure you rinse the Goo-Gone off and then possibly put some
lemon oil on the wood.
