I agree JH. I always felt he was underrated. For those that don't have  
"Making of Dark Side of the Moon" DVD, purchase it, worth ever penny.  
For those that do have it, watch the section where he talks about  
chord selection for "Gig."

One can argue about who was the most influential in Floyd, whether it  
was the tightrope between genius and insanity of Barrett, the lyrics  
and concepts of Waters, the always tasteful guitar lines of Gilmour,  
or whatever. But I don't think Floyd would have been Floyd without  
Richard Wright.

He touched my soul, and that is the best complement I can give.  
Godspeed Rick, missed but never forgotten.
